Flat bay blocks

Blocks for creating 45° and 135° angles

 

KLB flat bay blocks for wall thicknesses of 24, 30 and 36.5 cm allow for problem-free manufacturing of the angles 45° or 135°. This eliminates the adjustment to slants at the construction sites via time and cost-intensive cutting or masonry with small-format solid blocks. With regard to thermal technology, when built-in connection with the other thermally insulating wall building materials, they offer a unit without thermal bridges.

 

The KLB flat bay blocks are full blocks without slots or chambers and are processed alternatingly by turning them 180°. The length of the blocks is chosen such that a half-block or quarter-block union is formed and thus the required overbond dimension is maintained.
