KLB ceiling partition blocks/elements, non-insulated and insulated

KLB ceiling partition blocks serve to partition the ceiling. They are available as non-insulated partition blocks (system length 50 cm) and also as insulated partition blocks and elements (system length 100 cm) for the standard ceiling thicknesses from 15 to 25 cm.

For ceiling partition blocks the height of the raw ceiling results with a joint height of approx. 1 cm. The non-insulated partition blocks must be mortared in the butt joint. In addition, at the construction site a continuous insulation layer of at least 6 cm must be included between the ceiling partition and the ceiling to be cemented.

The insulated KLB ceiling partition blocks and elements are bumped against one another bluntly in the butt joint. The L-shaped light-weight concrete partition blocks have an integrated thermal insulation layer with a thickness of 8 cm. The KLB ceiling partition elements consist of an exterior light-weight concrete shell and a form-fitted 100 mm thick thermal insulation, which covers the entire height of the partition element.

The exterior light-weight concrete surfaces of the insulated partition blocks or elements offer the same good plaster base as the remaining masonry. With a joint height of approx. 1 cm, these blocks and elements also achieve the height of the raw ceiling.
