KLB flat blocks with integrated insulation, Kalopor

The absolute heat insulation blocks / Z-17.1-1020

KLB-Kalopor ULTRA with integrated insulation out of mineral wool are the absolute heat insulation blocks. They are the current development from KLB for obtaining a monolithic, permeable wall that does not need a thick outer insulation.

The chambers of the 249 mm high-precision blocks are filled in to the entire block height with insulation cuttings, i.e. the blocks have no lid. In addition, the outer crosspieces, which usually delimit the stone rectangularly, are interrupted over large areas and each has a recess in the stone axis the size of half the middle hollow chamber.

Solid exterior and interior ridges made of carefully prepared washing pumice and possibly small amounts of expanded clay ensure the low gross density classes 0.35 with simultaneous full utilisation of the compressive strength classes 2 respectively.

KLB-Kalopor Ultra with integrated insulation made of rock wool, SFK 2 - RDK 0.35 with a currently calculated value of the heat conductivity λR = 0.07 W/mK are available.

The chambers of these bricks are filled with insulating material at the plant and the recesses in the butt joints are filled with insulating material at the building site. No aids are necessary.

KLB precision blocks with integrated heat insulation are approved for use in buildings by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt), Berlin, permit Z-17.1-1020 for KLB-Kalopor ULTRA.
